The Bar

The bar stocks a wide range of spirits, liqueurs and wines. We serve a wide range of draught ales, including a seasonal ale from Stroud Brewery made just down the road from us. We also have a wide range of lagers and ciders on tap, and a substantial range of soft and alcoholic drinks.

Friendly notice : Please be aware that when visiting the Clothiers Arms you will need to enter your car registration number (correctly and in full) into the white screen on the bar, or at the screen in the restaurant.

We serve traditional English pub food, high quality but at reasonable prices. You’re welcome to eat either in the bar, in the restaurant or in the large garden outside (depending on the weather of course). We pride ourselves on providing what you would like, so if you want to adjust a menu item you won’t get any quibbles from us.

We also have a gluten free menu and we are happy to cater for any food intolerances or particular tastes.

You can have the same menu in the bar but in a more informal setting, and without needing to book a table. On Sundays you can have a traditional Sunday roast for £12.95 which includes a pint, or other equivalent drinks such as a 125ml glass of wine, spirit and mixer, or any soft drink.

You cannot however book a table in the bar area. Dogs are not able to join you in the restaurant, however we welcome them in the bar on a lead.
