The Bar
The bar stocks a wide range of spirits, liqueurs and wines. We serve a wide range of draught ales, including a seasonal ale from Stroud Brewery made just down the road from us. We also have a wide range of lagers and ciders on tap, and a substantial range of soft and alcoholic drinks.
We serve traditional English pub food, high quality but at reasonable prices. You’re welcome to eat either in the bar, in the restaurant or in the large garden outside (depending on the weather of course). We pride ourselves on providing what you would like, so if you want to adjust a menu item you won’t get any quibbles from us.
We get asked a lot for “Gluten free” food. We cannot offer a gluten free menu, becuse we use gluten in the kitchen and there is a risk of cross contamination. We do not have a seperate fryer for gluten free food and our homemade beer batter contains gluten. We can offer you a meal that we have taken out ingredients that contain gluten, but we can’t claim to be a gluten free kitchen. Please ask for options when you arrive and we do our very best to accomodate your dietary requirements.

You cannot book a table in the bar area. Dogs are not able to join you in the restaurant, however we welcome them in the bar on a lead.
